Can I get pregnant after 3 years of menopause?

I'm 51 and have not had a period in three years. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Answer:

 

Very remote. Medical authorities assume that you have passed menopause once it’s been 12 months since your last period. Lightning does strike – and only a doctor can verify your infertility – but it sounds like you can no longer get pregnant.
