I have been experiencing aching in my upper stomach area. I have had all kinds of tests and nothing shows up wrong. Could this be related to menopause? My ribs feel like I have been working out. It’s a dull ache.

Mary

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

Honestly, Mary, it’s hard to know, but it doesn’t sound like a very common side effect of perimenopause. The good news is that the battery of tests you’ve undergone haven’t caught anything serious. But if it’s causing you discomfort, go back to your doctor and tell her you’re not leaving until you get an answer.
